Since 2009, Jay-Ford Company Ltd. has been at the forefront of producing high-quality, design-driven notebooks that celebrate creativity and craftsmanship. Over the years, we’ve embraced innovation not just in design, but in how we produce responsibly. With 70% of our production materials made from paper, we recognize our duty to give back to the very source of our art, nature.
That’s why, beyond recycling 60% of our waste products, including repurposing paper scraps and upcycling waste fabric, we are taking our sustainability mission one step further.
This year, we are proud to announce a meaningful partnership with Albert’s Haven Farms, to plant trees on behalf of the Albert’s Haven Autism Foundation (AHAF).
A Journal with a Purpose
Our newest journal release is more than a beautiful notebook, it’s a celebration of African cultural heritage and environmental responsibility.
Each journal is handcrafted in Ghana, using vibrant African mud cloth textile (print) covers that symbolize our connection to nature, paired with faux leather for a modern, elegant finish. But beyond aesthetics and craftsmanship, this product carries a powerful mission:
For every journal sold, Jay-Ford Company will plant one tree.
These trees will be planted around Albert’s Haven Autism Foundation, creating a greener, more nurturing environment that reflects both sustainability and compassion.
A Partnership that Grows Beyond Business
Our partnership with Albert’s Haven Farms reflects our belief that creativity and social responsibility can coexist beautifully.
Located on over 100 acres in Ghana’s Eastern Region, Albert’s Haven Farms is a model of sustainable agriculture, cultivating over 60 acres of fruits, vegetables, and livestock. The farm also features a forest reserve designed for eco-park and adventure activities, providing fresh produce to households, restaurants, and supermarkets while offering unique agrotourism experiences such as guided tours, camping, and nature retreats.
Beyond farming, the heart of the farm beats within the Albert’s Haven Autism Foundation (AHAF), a nonprofit dedicated to creating inclusive, supportive spaces for individuals with autism and other neurodivergent conditions. AHAF provides respite care, skills training, therapy programs, and community activities, promoting awareness and inclusion across Ghana.
By merging sustainable farming, social impact, and environmental renewal, this partnership embodies what we at Jay-Ford call purposeful production, a model where every product contributes to people, planet, and progress.
