Buy a Journal. Plant a Tree. Make an Impact.
At Jay-Ford Crafts, we believe in creating products that don’t just look beautiful, but also make the world a better place. That’s why we’ve launched our One Journal, One Tree Campaign, a movement that connects creativity, culture, and environmental responsibility in partnership with Albert's Haven Farms.
About the Product
This journal is a celebration of African cultural heritage and environmental responsibility. It is handcrafted in Ghana using vibrant African mud cloth prints covers which signify connection to nature and then faux leather. But beyond aesthetics and quality, we are grounding this product in a deeper mission: For every journal sold, we pledge to plant one tree. These trees will be planted around the Albert’s Haven Farms on behalf of the Autism Foundation (AHAF),

Albert Haven's Farms was established to produce high-quality, nutritious fruits, vegetables, and livestock, with the goal of adding value to Ghana's food systems and strengthening local and export markets. Situated on over 100 acres in Ghana’s Eastern Region, the farm has 60 acres under active cultivation, including mango, papaya, passion fruit, dragon fruit, coconut, banana, maize, habanero pepper, and avocado.
Beyond agriculture, Albert’s Haven Farms is also the home base for Albert’s Haven Autism Foundation (AHAF), a Ghana-based nonprofit dedicated to creating inclusive spaces for individuals with autism and other neurodivergent conditions.
Through AHAF, we aim to become Ghana’s leading center for respite care, offering a welcoming environment for autistic individuals, their parents, siblings, caregivers, schools, and mental and development health specialists. Our vision is to combine agricultural productivity with social impact - using the farm as a platform for awareness, skills training, therapy programs, and community-building activities that foster inclusion and understanding.
